Me, myself have not been to all of these places but I know I will be there one day. It’s all written based on people experience who have been to this splendid places where people must not miss to visit in Nepal.
Mount Everest base camp
There can be no denying the fact that Nepal has laid itself in the lap of splendid Himalayas and trekking is one of the best ways to revel in the beauty if nature. The Everest Base Camo trek is one of the most exciting and enthralling journeys in Nepal. The south and north camp are hospice for numerous mountaineers and trekkers those who come along all the way from different countries and some part of Tibet. Captivating beauty of mount Everest, rambling around stupas, rare or beautiful birds emerging from its natural habitat are major attractions of the place. Besides the courtesy- exhibiting Sherpa’s generous behavior will trigger you to remember them in your place.
Annapurna Base Camp
Annapurna base camp trek is an amazing and ineffable walk through lush green surroundings, and allure of culture with unclad mountains, prairies, quaint Gurung villages, poetic landscape and diversified flora and fauna. Mt Annapurna (8091m) of Nepal is the 10th highest mountain in the world and the journey to its basecamp, which is at 4130m/13549 Ft height is one of the most popular journeys on Earth. At ABC (4130-mt), the sky looks like a freshly painted black canvas sprinkled with fine blush-grey glitters and silhouette of the Annapurna range, Gangapurna and Machhapuchre is the perfect frame holding flashing and flickering art in place. The smell of freshly backed Gurung breads, the warm smiles, murmuring brooks, playful waterfalls, chitterling of insects, Modi river are peculiar and eerie.
Chitwan National Park
Established in 1973 A.D, Chitwan National Park is a preserved area in the Terai Lowlands of south-central Nepal, known for its biodiversity. Nearly 60 species of mammals, over 480 species of birds, 70% of Sal trees are found in this national park. It is a habitat of rocky python, mugger crocodiles, gharials, Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinoceros, clouded leopard, striped hyenas, crab-eating mongooses, white-throated king fishers, spotted eagles, storks, cuckoos etc. Besides glimpse of distance vegetation, climate and thrilling scenario makes us swoony. It was granted the statues of a world heritage site in 1984.
- Tilicho Lake
Also Known as “ lake situated at highest altitude”. Tilicho lake is located in Manang district of Nepal. It is situated at an altitude of 4,919 meter (16,138 ft) in the Annapurna range of Himalayas. The magical mountains surrounding the lake are Khangsar, Muktinath peak, Nilgiri and Tilicho. Other major attraction of Tilicho lake trekking are the eye-catching of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, Peaceful Thorong la pass and the ethnic people like Sherpas, Bhotes along with mellifluous chants of Buddhist prayers.
Sagarmatha National Park
Thin veil of mist shrouding the surrounding, Sagarmatha National Park is situated in the district of Solukhumbu in Sagarmatha zone of eastern Nepal in the altitude between 2845m from sea-level. It was established in 2032 B.S , covers an area of 124,400 hectares. Snowpeaks like Lhotse, Nupse, Pumori, Amadablam and Thamserku in the national park. The major floras and faunas found in the park are red panda ( habre), musk deer, snow leopards, impeyan pheasant, spruce, fir tree, rhododendron, martens etc.
Rara lake
Rafting and lakeside views are crucial attractions for tourists. The Rara Lake is the main feature of the Rara National park, located in the Jumla and Mugu districts. As the lake lies at the heart of Rara National Park , it has unique floras and faunas features with rare and nature-gifted species. The park was established in 1976 to resist the charm of the lake includes 51 species of mammals and 214 species of birds. It is a home to different aquatic lives.
Mustang
If you want to dive into the stunning beauty of Nepal but if trip to mustang is not in your list, then your journey is incomplete. The ethereal beauty of mustang generates a feeling of Basorexia in oneself. Major places to visit are Jomsom, Muktinath Temple, Lo Manthang and more. The towering peaks of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri can make anyone greedy and curious about the place. Cycling rally and bike race are common in the place. The cold misty wind of the place tells the story of cultural tolerance, tales of mountains, ancestral myths. The Buddhist and Tibetan cultures followed in the places attracts numerous tourists those who love ti explore culture and people.
Muktinath Temple
If you’re in for some hiking and want to go some places peaceful and rich in cultural features, Muktinath Temple is the perfect site for you. Muktinath is a solemn place for both Hindus and Buddhists located in Muktinath valley. A alm and tranquil sense engulfs you when you will reach cut to the place and soak yourself in the religious spirituality. According to Hinduism, the temple is a house of Saligram Shila, form of Sriman Narayan – the Hindu Godhead whereas the Buddhist call it Chuming Gyatsa, which in Tibetan means “Hundred waters”. An almost supernatural breeze blows down the Temple, as locals, piligrams and tourists purify themselves learning cultures and positive vibes of the sites.
